You make it all worthwhile when the day is through
16 more dollars and it's all for you
stay for a while and I'll tend to your needs
There's toys from my table I made from my seeds.
I've got 1 million dreams all set there in glue
I've had them too long so I'll give them to you
Now there's no point in living when your brain is too dry
So I'm standing here waiting for the rain to arrive.

I wander I wander I wander ten towns until I fall on my blunders and I circle around, how could it be said that the mice in your head keep you moving on straight until the time you are dead
And the peace of my mind isn’t worth quite as much as a moment with you and our thoughts I can’t touch.
As we stand in the sea of our dreams left alone, I just pierce the shadows of the porch on our home
I can’t help but think that life isn’t fun, and that all I see is ruled by the gun.
I just couldn’t believe that the world had been won, so escape by all means and feel free to run
Oh why do my thoughts seem much better on land? You keep me awake but I’ve no strength to stand. I’ll burn in the sun before I walk just one step. You’ll make it damn sure that your secrets are kept
But the tides in our eyes give us away, the sun sets forever till we’re here to stay.
Before I met you I was lost alone at night, now that I know you I’m blinded by light.

Woke up because I got tired too late
I got a feeling I won’t be feeling great
If I don’t sleep I start to panic
I can’t see that far so I say damn it
I only get honorable mentions
I don’t have time for these inventions
This on you who I’ve chose - to depend
Made a promise to this Woman who won’t pretend
I dropped a painting at the source
And somehow its done stopped it’s course
Now it has gone and turned into a well
So deep and dark if its got bottom well I can’t tell
I tell you how I spend my hours
Each and every day
I got a message from the autumn winds on the ocean spray
I ask it for answers but its got nothing to say
I can’t believe my luck
I’m a living human by the bay
But very single web I spin
Eventually turns into hay
Heyyy hey
I can cut you up with knives but I'll still feel hollow
I can put you in the ground but I’m afraid I might follow
I want to see your face - real soon
Until then I sit this autumn staring at the harvest moon

Walk out the door see you float in thin air
But you’re not really there
Only an Illusion
Strangle the sun and the days will get short
But she’ll take you to court
Just persecution
In regards to the kiss, it’s hit and miss
The winter solstice
Silent Seclusion
The girl she is gone, and the nights growing long
I’ve done something wrong
Last Nights Confusion
I just sit and stare, and the cabinets bare
Dust in my hair
Mind prostitution
Stating the obvious, use what you know
All of the ancient truths died long ago
Drowning Suspicion and starving by time
Starting my punishment committing the crime
I sit there alone, but my body has grown
At home with tombstones, blessing my bones
Before my eyes, I see you float in the air
But you’re not really there, and I don’t really care.

Ain't Comin' Home Again
02:47

'Head's on the pin, sure to begin
softly turning
its time to say so long to my friends
cause i ain't comin home again
all that i know, bout driving through snow
God's not your friend
its time to say hello to my sins
cause i aint comin home again
I think of my peers, the bitter-sweet years,
the dog house burning
maybe in hell i can learn how to swim
but i aint comin home again
I won't eat your food, cause i can't chew,
the pieces of human
I don't even care if the road never ends,
I ain't comin home again
no I aint comin home again

Fixated on a lunar eclipse
It takes it time and it sips his sips
Makes him feel so torn and ripped
We claimed your land and filmed our trip
Without the sun you’re just a rock
A frozen stone, a silver spot
And no one would have ever thought
About your face and if it stopped
And nothing would have ever thought at all

Seeing things in black and white
Do all my gambling at night
Look at the stars when I am lost
Shaking hands with Jack Frost
I’m in the corner where I lay
Can’t make much sense of yesterday
But I know I’m not alone
Guiding angels follow me home
Swam out in the pond
Frost at dawn
The sun’s our nearest star
It’s like a candle its so small
But all the others are too far
And she’s the mother of us all
Walk up the spiral in the cathedral
There are no such things as good and evil
Color comes from black and white
Up in this tower I’m seeing sunlight
Man in my corner where I lay
I’ve forgotten yesterday
I tell him he’s not alone
Don’t scrape your knuckles down to the bone
He reads what I wrote
Dust on his coat
The man's got on his Sunday best
I’m in the tower with the crow
Told me he’s traveling out west
I watch him ride away through the window
I know which way I’ve come
I follow the setting sun
away.

Sun Song
05:05
|

Sun coming up over the trees
It’s a new day
And all of our sins have been washed away
Covered by the clouds
Coming in like swarming crowds
And I wanted to say
But I couldn’t today
Couldn’t leave it this way
Set in stone the words we’ve outgrown
Older now but when we were young
Skin and bones, I’m all alone.
People rise with the setting sun
Back to the earth
For all that I’m worth
Nothing works for everyone
The sacrificed Sun comes over the trees
Resurrect the same day
Now all of our sins have been washed away
Covered by the clouds
Coming in like swarming crowds
And I wanted to say
But I couldn’t today
Couldn’t leave it this way
Weeds have grown; I’m on my own
Vines reclaim what is now through.
Wood and stone, but still not a home
The house is empty now without you.

Go outside and I see nothing,
forgotten people can't collide,
one day I went and I saw something,
but then I went back inside.
No one has ever seen the poison,
that makes you lose who you had been,
nobody ever sees it coming,
that first call to mortal sin
some days aren't only, forgotten and unholy,
keep watch on your reflection, incase you get infection,
then you must repent, and become more innocent.
So god knows that you weren't bad at all.
The moon is out now I see shadows,
becoming things that I had known,
in the dark they can't protect me,
in the dark shadows have grown
So I clutch my spirit tight,
I won't forget my name,
if I am lost they can come get me,
forgive me for trying to tame.
Nature begs for me to walk,
among the trees so I won't talk,
and finally figure out that,
I don't own anything at all
The watchmen call out to the sunrise,
Yet again it's beat the moon.
The fires out the warmth's forgotten,
bigger fires coming soon.

Water Fountain
02:48
|
|||
If I had an extra 52 minutes I'd walk very
slowly towards a water fountain
slowly towards a water fountain
mountains throwing boulders at each other
While the people run for cover
the walls cave in ready for capture
I've never had to look into laughter 612
I put up my collar to fight the cold
and I cant keep doing what I'm told
we used to be two but now we're one
the sun beats down like the barrel of a gun
I've got enough sense to play the game
But I don't know if I want you tame
I made my mind and I chose to look after my blood red rose
If I had an extra 52 minutes I'd walk very
slowly towards a water fountain
slowly towards a water fountain
mountains throwing boulders at each other
While the people run for cover
the walls cave in ready for capture
I've never had to look into laughter - Now I do
Taken down the wings of grace
endless looks upon your face
lost quartet I wish they'd stop
silent movie barbershop
walked into another world
forever gone the factory girl
the city paved the earth like snow
...so it goes.
